Louisiana House Committee Kills Cannabis Legalization Bill

Lawmakers in Louisiana’s House Criminal Justice Committee this week voted 9-4 to reject a bill to legalize adult-use cannabis in the state.
Louisiana legalized medical cannabis in 1991 but recreational use is still illegal, although it was decriminalized in 2015. Currently, there are two cultivators and nine pharmacies licensed in the state. Scroll down to view Louisiana cannabis news and articles:
