What does “Mother” mean?
The botanical term for a large, flowering female plant from which smaller plants can be grown and harvested. When well-maintained, a mother plant can be kept alive for years and build a strong genetic lineage of the cultivar. Careful timing of harvesting from mother plants also allows growers to keep a steady supply of their strains of choice on hand.Example usage:
