What does “Decarboxylate” mean?

Otherwise known as “decarb” for short, it's the process of applying low heat to ground flower to convert the plant's THCA into its more potent, psychoactive version: THC. The decarboxylation process is vital when cooking with cannabis because THCA doesn't provide any intoxicating effects. You can decarb weed in many different ways, but the most common is to bake it in an oven on low heat for anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour.
